Joining Papa are Cyril Neville, Gary Brown, Yolanda Robinson and Kiki Chapman, all of whom recorded and performed with the Good Doctor. Neville, the legendary Uptown Ruler, sang on Goin’ Back to New Orleans (1992) and N'awlinz: Dis Dat Or D'udda (2004); Brown, saxophonist on the albums In the Right Place (1973) and Desitively Bonnaroo (1974); and Robinson and Chapman, backing vocalists on Dr. John’s final release, Things Happen That Way (2022).
The Tin Men (Alex McMurray, Washboard Chaz & Matt Perrine) open the show with a set as unique and eclectic as Dr. John hisself.
